Visit the Historic Hyde Park web site to get information about our town's historic sites-- location, hours, & cost. (Web site:  www.historichydepark.org)

The Dutchess County Tourism web site is also a wonderful resource for a listing of historic places, museums, and cultural centers in our area.  The web site even has suggestions for short daytrips you can enjoy while staying at the Roosevelt Inn.  (tourism website: www.dutchesstourism.com)

Another famous landmark of the area, the Culinary Institute of America, is a mere 3 miles south of the inn.  The school has grown enormously through the years and has three restaurants and two cafes for you to sample.  Please be sure to make reservations well in advance of your planned visit.  (On-line reservations: www.ciachef.edu/restaurants)

Do you like drive-ins? Hyde Park has a wonderful drive-in theater located in the center of town.  It is one of the only drive-ins between Dutchess County and New York City.  Come visit with the kids and have some fun.  (Hyde Park Drive-in:  www.hydeparkdrivein.com)

A final often overlooked treasure is only 5 miles away--   The Dinsmore Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course offering panoramic views of Mills-Norrie State Parks, the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. It is the third oldest golf course in the country. The on-site cafe is operated by Terrapin Restaurant in Rhinebeck.  (Psst! The venue here is a great choice for a catered event.) T. 845.889.3126
