2011 Fortieth Anniversary Milestone

This is an exciting year for the Roosevelt Inn.  Its the big "4-0" for our business and we want to mark this milestone in a big way.

Beginning Late Spring 2011 and continuing through Spring 2012, the Roosevelt Inn will be starting a phased remodel ("makeover") of our interiors including some exterior upgrades and landscaping.

• Deluxe rooms: Coming soon-LCD TVs, New furniture, vanities and interior sprucing; next Spring, new draperies, bed linen
• Rustic rooms: New carpeting, bathroom floors & fixtures; next Spring, new furniture & draperies
• Exterior Improvements: New walkways, lighting and plantings
  

(For those of you who loved the Rustic room's retro look, we will honor that spirit but with new fixtures and furnishing. The Deluxe rooms will continue to look like the standard hotel room but with new TVs, furnishing and amenities.) There will be little construction so noise will be minimal.

And as always, every year, all room carpets are shampooed and each room is checked for wear & tear (spot replacements-- paint and/or equipment).

Did you know?

The Roosevelt Inn has a large extended family of returning guests. Our guests who have been with us for many years know that we take an annual winter break each year.

What they-- and you-- may not know, is that we utilize that time off to make sure our facilities are thoroughly refreshed and cleaned. During the break, each room is inventoried with a 50-point checklist to ensure working equipment and pleasant environs. Maintenance issues are addressed year-round but this is the time we utilize to repair larger concerns or entirely replace equipment, if needed.

Comments and requests from our guests throughout the past season are discussed and considered when we prioritize the new year's maintenance and equipment purchases.
